    Why drinking water has so many health benifits?

    When the human body is born it consists of about 75% water. As one matures it goes down a little bit as an average for an adult male is 60% water and 50% for an adult female. This information lead me to do a study to see if drinking the recommended amount of water (fluctuates from nutrition to nutrition) lead to weight loss, and an overall fat loss. I decided to perform a test on myself because I was about 10 pounds over weight and I am always looking for an easy effective way to stay in shape.

    Water works as a lubricant for our joints and it flows as a river through our veins, arteries and capillaries. In short it fills nearly every space of our body and acts as a protective shock absorber for our body. It also helps to form the structure of protein and glycogen. Meaning that water is the source that carries nutrients to our cells in each part of our body and also help to transport the waste out of the body. It has been proved advantageous for the functioning of the kidneys, and drinking more of the precious yet abundant fluid could lower the risk of developing kidney stones and gallstones.

    Water serves to regulate the internal temperature of the body and maintains a constant fluid balance. Thus it acts as a thermo regulator that is why we can adapt ourselves in any of the Earth’s habitats. The electrical stimulation of nerves and contraction of muscles are the result of the exchange of electrolyte minerals dissolved in water. It reduces the risk of cancer as well as being a means of preventing diseases in general by not leaving the body’s cells weakened gasping for the water they so desperately need.

    Water is a universal solvent and thus plays an important role as a media to carry and distribute the metabolites, hormones and other material around the body and within the cell. Many solutes are also dissolved within it, so it’s also essential for health, growth, stamina, building muscle and development. Energy reactions also take place in this medium.

    It is good to substitute a cup of coffee in the morning with a glass of water as at this time the blood is most viscous and strokes particularly prevalent. During and after exercise it is also better to drink water to maintain the body’s level of hydration. This will also reduce the chance of heart attack at this time of day. Water is the best source to regain the hydration loss due to certain beverages as coffee and tea.

    Can having an abortion affect my fertility?

    Abortion is usually delineated as the release or expulsion of the fetus or the embryo from a woman’s body. It can be uncontrolled or involuntary as in the case with Spontaneous Abortions. On the other hand, a planned or voluntary abortion, also referred as Induced Abortion, may be further categorized into two distinct types: Elective Abortion and Therapeutic Abortion. Now, Induced Abortion is a woman’s prerogative if she is not in favor of being pregnant or since the pregnancy may jeopardize her mental or physical health.

    There are not much facts pointing to whether abortions cause infertility in a medical stand point. And this is even after going over information based websites on the topic of abortions cause infertility to dig up more on it as a medical issue. Yet, even with enough persistence to continue, information was still lacking.

    Although the medical standpoint was not as giving in terms of information, if basing on a family or personal stand point, there are some facts that show whether or not abortions cause infertility. This is an on-going perception stand by two different sides, and this is between the pro-life and pro-choice campaigns, depending on how a person or family feels about these two stands. This information is very situational depending on the two campaigns and what they believe in.

    For the pro-life groups who understand as to whether abortions cause infertility, they believe and have lifted information from a doctor which states and assumes that twenty five percent of women who interrupt their first pregnancy have remained virtually childless. But presumably these twenty five percent are those and including women who have possibly, had an abortion and becoming mentally unstable or fearing the pain, decided not to have another try at pregnancy. Another may be those women who have firmly decided to remain childless for the reasons that it would be unsustainable in the future, found herself pregnant, decided with an abortion and after did not want a child again. And lastly, groups of women who have really been pregnant, under-went an abortion and had complications during the abortions and pregnancy that really lead to infertility. But all of these are assumptions and estimated rates on whether abortions cause infertility.

    Yet for the pro-choice groups, who believe that pregnancy can be a choice, abortions to them if done safely and properly, especially with a help of a doctor cannot become infertile because the procedure has been carefully done with the guidance of skilled hands. Firmly they agree that whether abortions cause infertility is a false belief.

    Whether abortions cause infertility still remains as a puzzle for the general public. But as stated often, abortion may have nothing to do with infertility at all. It may or may seem that it will definitely fall into a case to case basis depending on how strong a woman’s body can be.
